Sunnyside Up

We love stopping in these local favorites when we travel. We were not disappointed. Can u imagine a more glorious sight than a large pan of bacon. Lol. The food was quickly brought out. It was very tasty. It was well proportioned. The server took care of us very well.

This place is great! Looked for a good breakfast place while visiting savanna. Reviews were Greta, so we went! You seat yourself and got service immediately. Our server Wei was quick and efficient. You can sit at the bar and watch the highly expedited kitchen work away. Food was great, pancakes are fantastic!

Loved this place. Don't let the outside fool you. Very crowded, but quick service, good, plentiful food, and my waitress was always a step ahead. I will return when I'm in Savannah. I wish I remembered the waitress name so I could give a shout out!

This is a hole in the wall diner breakfast place with a chill laid back vibe. Nestled in a quiet strip mall on Derenne, close to Bakers Pride, there’s ample parking and always a free table open to eat. Great bang for your buck - this is our go to spot if we are feeding the whole family. Not the most aesthetically pleasing but bottomless refills on coffee are what I come for!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Just got lucky searching for diners on a recent trip home to the east coast. This place is a MUST. I think it is a chain, but this particular spot was phenomenal. We went earlyish on a Sunday and it was packed, but we still got a 4 top without waiting. Service was top notch, nice and speedy. 4 of us ate for around 75 and it was not light portions. I’ve been having dreams about this place. If you’re in the neighborhood, this is the spot. They do takeout as well and their takeout counter was bumping the entire time we were there.

The food was excellent. My grits were smooth and perfect, and the veggie omlett was outstanding. My compliments to the Chief. Good customer service. Con: The outside of the restaurant didn't look good. Almost started to leave. However, I would visit again and recommend others.

Just walk in and seat yourself. Waitress immediately came to us and got our drinks ordered. Within 5 minutes of walking in, we were getting our food ordered. Within another 5 minutes we had our food in front of us. Staff was very friendly. Place was clean. Food was great! Their biscuits were fluffy & perfect, and their pancakes tasted very sweet! Will definitely eat there again.

Simple food done well and served quickly during a rush with a smile. Everything tasted perfect and they clearly put a lot of emphasis on attention to detail regardless of the simplicity. Would be a regular stop if I was local and makes me rather sad I'm not. A thank you to the folks at Sunnyside Up
